We are a group of people who simply want to help you keep your business on the right path financially.

While you run your business, we work with you to keep your bookkeeping up-to-date and accurate. We then also work, on your behalf, with your yearend CPA, CRA, and the Minister of Finance to ensure that all your filings are completed and the yearend goes as smoothly as possible.

We value honesty, ethics, and the trust you give us when you choose us as your bookkeepers.

Our Story

While working for 12 years at a local CPA firm, Marilyn Johnson noticed a real need that many small businesses or non-profits had – needing solid bookkeeping help!

She started MG Accounting & Office Services in 1999, working from her home office in Martensville for the first 10 years. In 2009, MG Accounting & Office Services had outgrown its home office space, so the office was moved to Saskatoon. Marilyn partnered with Bev of Bev Roth Accounting in 2009 to share office space and resources, then in 2017 the group was joined by Annie of Freedom for You Bookkeeping, and the three businesses have shared office space since.

Most recently moving to their current location on 45th Street West, with more office space and a bigger boardroom, the three business partners have stayed together through staffing changes, a move to new office space, and a global pandemic.

Marilyn and her team endeavor to help their clients with whatever they need, supplying excellent customer service. Whether it's an in-office meeting, where they'll offer you a coffee, tea, or soda while they review your information with you, or a job that needs to be done in person at your location, Marilyn and her team are ready and willing to accommodate you.
